This Privacy Policy explains what information RealDeal Analyzer (“RealDeal,” “we,” “us”) collects and how it’s used.

1. Information we collect

• Account information: email address and authentication data, handled by our authentication provider (Supabase).
• Deal data: property addresses, purchase details, financing terms, income/expense assumptions, and any listing text or links you enter or paste into the app.
• Usage data: basic product analytics (e.g. pages visited, features used) to understand how the app is used and improve it.

2. How we use it

We use your information to:

• Provide core functionality — storing and displaying your deals.
• Power AI features: when you request a listing import, an AI deal score, or an AI property lookup, the relevant deal inputs or address are sent to our AI provider (Anthropic’s Claude API, including its web search capability for property lookups) to generate a response. We do not send your account email or other deals to the AI provider as part of these requests.
• Maintain and improve the app, including diagnosing bugs.
• Communicate with you about your account or the service.

3. Third-party services

We rely on a small number of service providers to operate RealDeal:

• Supabase — authentication and database hosting (Postgres), protected by row-level security so your data is only readable by your account.
• Anthropic (Claude API) — AI listing import, deal scoring, and property lookup via web search.
• Hosting/CDN (e.g. Vercel) — serves the application.

These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments; we don’t sell your data to anyone.

4. Data retention and deletion

Your deals and account data are retained until you delete them or close your account. You can delete individual deals at any time from within the app. To delete your account entirely, contact support.

5. Security

We use industry-standard measures (encryption in transit, access controls, row-level security on your data) to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

6. Your choices

You can review, edit, or delete your deal data directly in the app at any time. You may request a copy of your data or full account deletion by contacting support.

7. Children

RealDeal is not directed to children under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above.
